According to the article Malala's mission by Alessandra Potenza, Alessandra tells us that the quietest people might have the loudest voices. Even when Malala Yousafzai was shot by two Taliban members shot her on the way home from school on October 9 2012, she still had recovered and talked about what happened. Many people don't know the story about the Taliban, but it is a very serious and bad group of people.

In the article, Malala says that Pakistan girls are denied their basic human rights.for example in 2007 terrorism started in swat valley, and women were not allowed to go to markets or go to school. More than 400 girls schools were destroyed.

She realized that "girls education is something important, and that's why the terrorists are afraid of it- because they do not want women to [be] empowered." That's why she started speaking for it.

Even though Malala has been shot, she has still stood up for the silent. This inspires us and teaches us that no matter what happens, you cant give up on your dreams. You cant give up on what you believe in. You have to fight for it. Be that brave soul because most people probably agree with you but they are to scared to say something. An if you try the hardest, you will be proud of your self no matter what happens.
